We are starting a new RPG campaign, one in 5th edition and one in pathfinder, and I wanted to make my own pantheon of gods.

Ilathana, goddess of maternity, light, and the sky, is the wife of Jhvsh, the god of the heavens, and a central figure in the human patheon of our game world (which has yet to be named). Her alignment is Neutral Good.

She embodies the ideals of the perfect lover, wife and mother. She is always depicted as a beautiful angelic woman dressed in scarlet and gold, visibly pregnant and covered head-to-toe with dozens of wings that are soft as clouds. Her realm is in the clouds; an indescribably beautiful sanctuary and homestead known as the Golden Orchard; where all her faithful children return home to at the end of their lives. She is depicted by her priests and clerics as a kind, warm and gentle deity, loving all whole worship her like her own children and never showing partiality among them. She is perpetually pregnant; filled with the seed of her beloved husband Jhvsh, so that at the end of time, she will give birth to a new world.

Like a mother, she and her acolytes are fiercely protective of their flock. Peaceful, diplomatic solutions are always preferred, but she is far from being above violence in defense of her beloved ones. In the face of the most wicked of adversaries, her adherents fight with a sort of grim determination that no king can inspire. Allies of hers can count on her followers to be there for them in their time of need, and never to ask anything in return except in dire circumstances. Offerings to her temple are given out of free will; never out of obligation or in exchange for service. Because of her embodiment of romantic love, wifehood, and motherhood, she is most popular among women, and her clergy are near exclusively female.

Controversially, she is claimed by some to be coddling and overprotective. Further, she is known to be very disciplining to her adherents; punishing them when they have done wrong. While the idea of this is to teach them to lead better lives, many claim that this discipline enforced by her and her clergy is too strict. Some even insist it borders on abusive. Others still decry her for her focus on women, claiming she is misandric or overly favoring of women. These critical views of her, however, are mostly minority opinions. Amongst most humans, her temple is widely accepted and supported.

Her temple teaches its adherents the virtues of unconditional love, charity and acceptance of imperfection. She offers the blessings of light, warmth, good health, family, community and healing.

I like this one, although an almost exclusively female clergy would probably irk my character if I played in your world. But your world, your Deity, not really my place to criticize. I'm going to make a guess and say her Domains are Light and Life. I'm building a DnD pantheon and was wondering what your process for creating her was. Also LOVE the wings on the wrists :) I was thinking of doing that with a character of mine actually.
